Structured wireframes are a foundational tool in the process of web design, functioning as a visual representation of a website’s framework before aesthetic elements are applied. They are akin to an architectural blueprint, illustrating the placement of various elements such as navigation, content, and interactive features. These wireframes are pivotal for establishing a clear understanding of how the site will function and how users will interact with it. They aim to ensure functionality and user experience are prioritized, providing an early model for stakeholders to review and iterate upon before moving into more advanced stages of design and development.

Choosing Macu for creating structured wireframes ensures that your project is in the hands of seasoned experts who prioritize both functionality and aesthetics. At Macu, we understand the importance of a well-designed wireframe as the starting point of any successful website project. We are committed to providing:
Trust in Macu's ability to translate your vision into a tangible blueprint that will guide each subsequent phase of your website's development.
We start by conducting thorough interviews with stakeholders to understand the key objectives and functionalities desired in the final product.
Understanding the audience is crucial. We perform detailed user research to align the design with the user's needs, behaviors, and expectations.
With information in hand, our design team drafts an initial layout that prioritizes ease of navigation and content accessibility.
The draft is shared with stakeholders for feedback. We then refine the wireframes iteratively, ensuring alignment with client's expectations and user satisfaction.
Through rigorous usability testing, we validate the functionality and efficiency of user flows, ensuring the final wireframe fulfills its intended purpose without friction.

We’re small because we want to be the ones actually doing the work, answering your emails and meeting your in client calls. Fluff belongs in stuffed toys - not your partner agency. We find we have the biggest impact staying small for better service.
We do design and development well. We see your website as part of a digital landscape which needs to align with your business goals and works for you, not against you. We develop wanting you to be able to manage your website moving forward.
We don’t work on projects we can’t have an impact on. We know when we work collaboratively, we can transform businesses. That’s why we specifically work with clients that are looking to level up and want to work with us. If we think you’re better off working with another agency, we will tell you.
Start with what the page has to do, list the blocks in priority order, then place them without any colour or typeface to argue about. Structured wireframes exist to settle the argument about order and hierarchy while it is still cheap to change. They are the first stage of Webflow Web Design on every project.
UX, mostly. A wireframe answers what goes here and why it comes before that, which is structure rather than interface. Where it crosses into UI is component thinking, since a block that repeats needs to be a component from the start. That handoff is covered on UI/UX Design, and skipping it is the most expensive shortcut in a build.
Three, broadly: low fidelity boxes for sequencing, mid fidelity with real copy in place, and high fidelity that is effectively the design. Real copy is the one that matters, because lorem ipsum hides every problem with a heading nobody can write. Copy comes early here, alongside the research in Brand Discovery Questions.
They save it. Restructuring a wireframe takes an hour, restructuring a built page takes a day, and most projects change their page order at least once. That is why the two to three month timeline puts them first. The full sequence is on the Webflow Development page.
Yes. You get a free video review with the problem areas on your current pages marked, which is effectively a wireframe critique of what you already have. It costs nothing and tends to make the structural problems obvious. Ask for one at Contact.

Yes, all three, in one pair of hands. Webflow Web Design covers UX, wireframes and design systems, Webflow Development covers builds, CMS and integrations, and Webflow SEO covers on-page work, analytics and growth. Most clients use two of the three, and the six published case studies show how they fit together.
